I wanted to teach in my old school, SMKSSAAS, but although all the teachers I met told me there was a place, the PK 1 siad no place...so poor xtine has to teach in the arch rival school, my sister's school, SMK seksyen 9!!! sigh. walao.... nvm!!!! if that is not bad enough (oops this is a woe now) I'm substituting for a ............... *drumroll* PHYSICS TEACHER. xomg. thank goodness I got an A for my SPM in Physics. SIGH. ZOMG. nvm!!!!! i shall try my best to be a good physics teacher. and Brown alumni pls schedule the interview in jan!!!!!!!!!!!

okay that's the current update in my life. er, I promised to blog about my mozzie-leech-bruise-rash-infested xmas. Which was actually quite fun-lah. I think myra would have LOVED it. okay..........here goes!!!

day before xmas.... wake up, look at bleary eyed cousins, feel blurry eyed myself since the previous day I was wrapping up weirdly shaped presents till god knows what time... then as we are leaving, my dad in a spur of grumpiness decides that we can bring my daling doggie along to the "jungle". wow. lucky Floss!!!

Of course, getting her to sit quietly in the car was no joke. that monkey is apt to growl, bark and bounce on your laps from one side of the car to the other as soon as she spots a motorcycle which is making a helluva noise. she just goes WILD. sigh! We stopped in Gopeng for breakfast, thankfully, cause I was STARVING. And my dear doggie got spoilt like anything, getting fed all the beef balls cause she was soo agitated by the humerous motorcycles. Also, people kept staaaring at her as we carried her, what, never seen a dog before is it??

When we reached Rumah Rehat Adeline, I was giddy with the glorious cold fresh are and the narrow winding roads with a nice steep drop on one side. Wow. When we got there, our bamboo house was occupied by a group that was checking out, so we ran to the clearing and enjoyed dozing in hammocks that hung from rubber trees. And my dear doggie got to run and run and run and sleep and smell around to her hearts' desire.

After lunch, we went WATER RAFTING. and OMG IT WAS GREAT. the cold water was great, the boat was great, the guides were great, the rapids were great and wow!!! the whole experience was SUPERB. it costs RM 150 per person per ride, anyone interested? I think it was 3 hours of glorious fun and screaming down rapids, bouncing the boat off rocks, retrieving lost paddles and laughing at capsized boats. The next day we went jungle tracking. OMG. that was a HELL OF JUNGLE TRACKING. I GOT 7 LEECHES. yeah. and a few huge bruises and a few cuts. We all got VERY DIRTY. I felt like a real jungle girl I can tell you, clinging on to trees and roots and branches. My sister fell into the river once, and I was enlisted to help my aunt around all the climbing spots. Seriously, you can't imagine it till you experience it! We crossed the river twice and reached a waterfall when the whole track was over. WOW. icy-cold water. Then there was the incident where my cousin was hanging to a tree trunk and some gung ho guy was trying to pull her up and shouting : RELEASE!! RELEASE!! while she yelled back: NO NO, I WON'T RELEASE, LET ME GO!!!! Then there was the incident where my aunt spotted a group of water rafters and shouted: Please take me back with you!!! In all, it was great!!!!

oh We got xmas presents too. And I took lotsa pictures with orbs in them. Think they're deva lights. Haven't uploaded them though. And I lost my rubber bands dangit. i guess it was a great trip, I even saw hornbills in the wold, but I was the only one to see them. muahaha. then we rode like construction workers at the back of a pick up, and that was fun too! I always wanted to do that.

okay!!!!! hope you enjoyed my account. ooh and last thing, I had a great time with my BABY COUSIN. he's shooooo cute, he beats even drew. lol. drew don't cry. Babies win hands down after all.

At the moment.... I'm watching Bleach like crazy when I can. haha. no wonder I can't blog.

jaa, ne?

'I dreamt that I was composing a symphony....I had gone to my table to begin writing it down when I suddenly reflected: "If I write this part I shall let myself be carried on to write the rest. The natural tendency of my mind to expand the material is sure to make it very long...When the symphony is finished I shall be weak enough to allow my copyist to copy it out, and thus immediately incur a debt of 1,000 or 1,200 francs. Once the parts are copied I shall be harassed by the temptation to have the work performed; I shall give a concert in which, as is sure to be the case in these days, the receipts will barely cover half the expenses; I shall lose what I have not got; I shall want the necessaries of life for my poor invalid, and shall have no money for either myself or for my son's keep on board ship!"...I threw down my pen saying, "Bah! I shall have forgotten the symphony tomorrow." But the following night the obstinate symphony again presented itself...'
- Berlioz writing about a nightmare he had during the 1850s
