life is crazy. a flurry of activity! ups and downs and heck knows what else.

interestingly, last week I got about 8 hours of sleep almost everyday.
Ironically, I got about 5 to 6 hours during the weekend.

preparation for asean Int Friendship day presentation (inflicted upon us by the school)
some people just refuse to come. the rest? well, we're kind of fed up.

oh yeah. and I got a hep B vaccination today. argh-ness! i took the last one for nothing!!!! that's because there are 3 shots in the vaccination process, to be taken every month. So my first jab was like, AGES ago, and well.... I have to just retake it! the even sadder thing is.... I HAD TO PAY 35 BUCKS FOR IT!! not covered under the insurance scheme. nooo...whyyyyyy.....
i shall go back and duefully demand money from daddy.

on a happier note, my leave for the long weekend was approved by Miss Leong! Joy!!

and my senior just secured a schoarship today. And some of the indian seniors as well. (one for cornell engineering in fact). gosh. to quote my dear room mate, they're all so brainy.

been crazily artistic and poetic and waste-money-ic lately. so here's a few.... what-i-hope-are-nice-sounding-arrangements-of-words I penned down

After the downpour,
the dying males
swarm the city lights

The queen-to-be
Picks her way
Not through the forest ground
But a concrete jungle floor
Littered
with the carcasses
of her mates

On a final note. Was on my way up the lift just now, when an indian scholar stepped in holding an envelope that was half covered (i swear it was half covered) with stamps.
really brought back memories of the letters my dad would send back to us when he was working in India.
