sunburnt like a lobster....

weekend is here! And I seem to be swinging off the blogging mode. nvm, I'll survive without blogging, and prioritise approproately to.....MY STUDIES. which are in dire state. I just realised it's the last week of term 1 and next term we're gonna finish the chem syllabus, maths too I bet, and probably Bio as well. And that's all the subs i'm taking, GP skills need honing, and I simply MUST start revising. egad! (weight of the world comes crashing down)

Anyway I had a great weekend, the above topic can take precedence next time (omg I'm procrastinating again). Well it did start a BIT woefully, but let me start from my angsts of the beginning of the week. Monday, was still on MC, they did sheep heart for bio prac!!!! though I suspect in my health state the smell would have just been too much. tuesday, omg, christine appears in school! wahaha, no PE for a week. joy (i'm lazy). however, we ewre having the inter class running stuff, so I was supposedly in charge of holding this red and green lollipop, which got taken away by Mr A. L., one of the PE teachers. haha. sad! I was laughing like crazy with Isheeta (I hope I'm spelling this right!) cz of various scenes with the PE teachers. She's a very funny girl, great to be around with. one senario I wont forget, the files on the small table fell down, and both of us bent down to help grab them, but the PE teacher, Mr C (I think) got them first, and whipped around and said: wahhh!! you peeking at me ah??!!?!?! i think the both of us almost choked with laughter then. just hillarious. don't think there was anything else memorable for tues, just that i was super tired that day. then weds, release of results! my seniors are.... god-like, and I refuse to comment any further on this blog. at the moment, i may change my mind in the future. haha. but I was coughing all the way during Bio tutorial, so mr ong let me off the sc center trip! haha. but I was darn tired anyway (Again T.T) so i just fell asleep AGAIN when I got back. oh, what I enjoyed about the day was watching my classmates get their results for Chinese and Tamil and Hindi. best reaction of the day goes to KENNETH! it was just classically beautiful and I thought it was SO worth going to see them get their results. congrats to all you guys!! congrats to seniors too!!

Being sick and unable to swallow and dosed with antibiotics, in conclusion, is not a nice experience. thursday I woke up not wanting to go to school, and felt weirdly DEPRESSED all day!! that was not nice! NOT NICE!!! worse was I had NO idea whatsoever why I felt so... moody. things got a bit better even though I had a late day, GP enrichment is FUN! totally had fun crapping with my classmates. but highlight of the day was first, bumping into, of all people, Alex at the bus stop, and then at a whole gang of seniors at Waffletown! I got back to hostel to chiong work quite in a good mood. then came friday morn and i was STILL DOWN. wah. *Grouches about weird moods* but this time me, jie sin and avril started singing in class so mood was lifted quite quickly. singing is fun! hahaha. when I got back to hostel, had a lovely few hours at the piano and did laundry and listened to some junior-nonsense, and generally came up, decided to nap but ended up snoozing until sat morning!

oh a lil saga. we're supposed to be made compulsory to attend the interhostel games held by OH in honour of Founder's Day. If we cant make it we need an official letter from the school. some of the ppl had a public speaking thing on in school, and they got the standard name-less letters from AJ, which one of my room mates went down to hand in. then another of my room mates went down, and because she didnt write her name on the letter, it got outright rejected!! gosh, she was pissed, and my other room mate went down with her to explain and blah blah blah and in the end they all got rejected and were told they didnt have permission to go to school. WTH! enough said, I don't want to work myself up into a tizzy of indignation for my room mates again.

so I was forced to attend the thing (i was very resentful cz I had planned a lovely 2 hour of session revising my MATHS that had to get abandoned instead). After a short briefing down in the dining hall, I was going up with Mei Yan (who was irritated cz she couldnt do sthg important as well), Sue Wen and June Ping. We walked out of the lift into Mr A, one of the HouseMasters. whoa. he was like, I need 4 girls, (a whole bunch of other girls around him were walking off) and he spotted us, and asked us if we could play captain's ball that morning, FOR ANOTHER HOSTEL. wah. well, we couldn't exactly refuse (but we did try) and ended up playing for CJC hostel! it was a great experience, the CJC girls are really a great bunch of people! so it was fun la, just that, OMG i got SUNBURNT....I look like some lobster now. admittedly it looks like the ocmplexion my mum hopes I WILL someday achieve, but...its a sunburn....... i look like a lobster...... and most strangely, its only on...my face and neck. hands arms and legs are fine. WEIRD.

had a great saturday night, and a great sunday today. haha, but unfortunately i haven't been really productive! dang. blame it on interhostel games? lol. pics next time, the pics we took are quite good. haha. you can see the lobster like christine I do believe. well, toodles!!
