haha. Why do i feel positive? Cause, I had a great day in school! Just felt like the bouncy, energetic Christine who used to exist in SMKSSAAS. haha...maybe it's cause Mondays are slack days for me, and Bio SPA was tolerable, and that I got enough sleep over the weekend, I had a great weekend, and I finished a bit of work, blah...the list could go on (for once ^^) I realised walking back from school today (and singing quite happily to myself) that it's been quite some time since I felt like this. The feeling of going to class knowing you're prepared for the lesson, you've done your work, etc, all of which I deem as the responsibility of a student. I missed this last year cue to my own inabilities in time management and judging my capabilities. Well, now that I've talked to Miss Khoo from MOE, (also affirmed by Mr Cheng %^^) I'm glad I made my own decision to drop physics. It's allowed me to be more productive and more happy with myself now. So, after this, I shall ponder no more on the fact that i DROPPED physics. Letting go of it now ^^

Singing. Haha. I seem to feel like singing a lot nowadays... no wonder it keeps raining....LOL. this song is great by the way, stumbled on it just today!!

I really wish I had the English translation. Somos Novios means "It's Impossible" suppoesdly. And the duet by Bocelli and Aguilera is SUPERB. but then again, this is strictly my opinion and you're totally entitled to your own.

Feeling happy. I bought drawing block today!! XD. and, and, MY SOFT ERASER!! after 2 years of seperation from soft erasers... *wipes a tear away from corner of eye* ooh, and played the piano during dinner, one of the Indian junior's birthday is today, and out of the blue they asked me to play the song. ^^;;; was totally unprepared, couldn't think of chords so in the end i just octaved the whole thing SUPER loud.... hahaha...

not very productive today, but oh well. We had Total Defence Commemoration in school today, although the actual date is Feb 15 every year, since the juniors weren't in school they postponed it to today. Very interesting simulation of "emergency situation" as I would call it. Firstly, we were issued 2 ration cupons per student, all the food stalls in the canteen sold stuff like, boiled tapioca/potatoes/sweet potatoes and porridge. We had electricity supply cut for 2 hours, the water supply was cut. 4 toilets available for the whole college population. Also, the Current Affairs members were given the opportunity to sell muffins usually sold by the new canteen stall. This is pretty cool, here's how it works:

We were told we would sell about 200 cupcakes/muffins in batches of 20. The first 20 would go at $1.30 each, the next 20 at $1.40, and so on. Then, when we got down to our last 20, it'd be a free price for all. Highest bid gets the cupcake!! haha. Quite cool, too bad I wasn't there at the beginning or end. Loads of people thought we' were just committing highway robbery, great, now the CA can be renamed as the HR, highway robbers...wahaha

Overall, I felt it was educational enough an experience, but it drew a lot of flack. haha. starving teens are not to be tampered with.

On an entirely different note, got a new background for my com! its GORGEOUS! (old one was a world map) got it from National Geog web, I just adore these type of publications ^^

All right, time to go finish a bio question and start organising my newly assigned GP research file. I'm gonna die facing that stack of papers I have....maybe I should just drag the file Tan Jo passed to me and say its my effort of years of research? wahaha...
