Day Out! (Again)

yeah. another day out. Anyway I hsould start from yesterday's story. A few of us were scheduled to go down for a movie on Friday night, and Ying Lee and I were planning to go down earlier to get some stuff we needed. So, Ying Lee went down from school...and told me to meet her at orchard. So...I called Zheng Yang (who said he'd go with us) and as we were walking DOWN the hill.....i got this message from William :

Alan say 645 is too near the screen. First, second and third row. He say the effect won't be good. 900 batman is too late. The girls have floor event. War of The Worlds is equally late, at 845. So we shall watch tomorrow. Sorry that we are unable to get the ticket.

Anyway we met up with Ying Lee and walked around Orchard, bought Zheng Yang's mug, my plug, then we hit Kinokunya for 2 hours! Oh joy!! I bought Princess Diaries 6 for Qi Lun and Xin-yi! about 13 dollars only, soft cover!!

Then we went to get food...and EVERYWHERE was SO crowded, I had never done so much restaurant hopping in my whole life! ended up eating american food...a nice big plate of pasta! yummy. loved the tomato sauce, something I really really love. after that...we sat around talking....and then headed back as me and Ying Lee had floor event.

The floor event was cool!! we had this 'charades' thing, and each cluster would act and others would guess. the funniest?

Dinosaurs attacking people (must act it out, or draw it out, its damn funny)
Starwars!! I acted this with Ren Xin, it was DAMN funny coz we were using broomsticks as light sabres and Ren Xin used the Force on me....(rolls on the floor laughing) I had a good laugh that night.

Okay, as for today, we went to watch Batman Begins, and Zheng Yang said watch War of the Worlds, so thanks to him for considering that I'd wathced it twice in cinemas already!! I wonder how I would have started this post if I watched it again today. After War of the Worlds, which is a very GOOD movie (9/10) we went shopping for Ying Lee's sling bag, nothing at the Heren, so Zheng Yang suggested she try Queensway for cheaper and a more variety of bags. So we went, William decided against going though. Thus it was me, Ying Lee, Seoh Ting, Li Ming and Zheng Yang who set forth to LOOK for Queensway. haha.

We got off at Queenstown (the MRT was jammed packed all the way) and walked....haha....and finally asked for directions, and hopped on a bus to Queensway Shopping Center. We walked around....a LOT.....and Ying Lee got her bag...and Zheng Yang got some shopping done...and the rest of us didnt buy anything (Though I was sorely tempted to)

After that I wanted to go to Ikea, and we decieded to try the food there, but it was too crowded when we got there. So we had Burger King, Ying Lee and I skipped dinner. Well, she had fries at least. I just had a soft drink (my water supply sudah hilang...finished). When we were done eating Seoh Ting and Li Ming decided to wait there while Ying Lee and I got some stuff....which was my main shopping mission anyway. Zheng Yang follwed us, he was looking out for a brush. To cut a long story short, (actually no story) at the end of the day Ying Lee and I got what we wanted, and I'm eternally grateful to Zheng Yang for helping me to carry back the stuff I bought, a 'rack' for organising my stuff...and it's darn heavy!! We eventually caught a cab due to being unable to get a bus back, and the 3 girls took the MRT, to save money.

I got back and saved my laundry, then in a fit of excitement wanted to unpack my new rack! I failed though...i need a hammer. darn. so its lying on an empty bed now...till i can get a hammer tomorrow. teehee. And here I am now, blogging, and was being updated on my cantonese show (which has ended :( ) by my 'older brother' ^^ and was chatting. So, enjoy this...obviously cheong-hei post!

Ps: I REALLY ADORE the new BackStreetBoys album!! can't help it, guess their songs are what hits off with me!!
