& your soul is all i ever wanted
I'm back!..........in Singapore...

Yeah, I'm back....(not like I'm particularly thrilled)

Anyway, my internet server in Malaysia unfortunately broke down, so I was unable to blog at all! So here's a brief summary of my holiday...

On Saturday, 11th June, I went out with my friends, Joan, Mak, Kok, Adrian and Leong to Sunway Pyramid! Gosh I had so much fun catching up with my old pals, it just felt....like the old times! An amusing/scary thing happened en route to the Pyramid, I'll try to put it in a next post due to lack of time now. Besides, if I put it here, it'll take up so much space that my blog will become more grandma-like than ever...

Anyway to continue the story, I watched Mr. and Mrs. Smith that day, and it was totally worth it!! Not to mention it's half the price of what it would cost in Singapore...and on Thursday, before that, (lost track of time) I'd hung out with another 2 of my best pals, Sook May and Lim! was superbly thrilled to find out that Sook May had been offered the JPA scholarship to KOREA!! I just found out she turned it down though....and will be doing form 6 in Klang High school instead. Well, at least she'll be with Lim...

Sunday night I had a STUPENDOUS dinner with my mum's side of the family, saw my grandma, cousins and all! My cousin who's the same age as me, Qi Lun, removed his upper braces, his teeth look so smooth now! What I enjoyed was watching the little kids though, my 2 nieces and 2 youngest cousins...they probably had the most fun of all! When we turned on the music they started dancing! yeah, little kids dance by turning round and round on the spot, until they get dizzy and nearly fall down. Not to mention the food was heavenly....(sighs dreamily)

Monday and Tuesday were spent without much event, except on Tuesday I went out with my mum (to buy my bus ticket, how depressing) and we ended up running around KL. Went to Brickfields, and saw Rev. Tejavuda!! That was probably one of the best things that happened that day. Wednesday.....11.30am I departed from KL. I felt pretty wretched...and even started tearing up....have no idea what my mum thought...on the bus I was virtually crying my eyes out....At customs Singapore they asked me to open my big bag, and I was laughing to myself at the thought of their faces when they was the mulititude of books inside. The military guys there were very nice though. I reached Singapore totally depressed and worn out, and got a taxi thanks to a very kind aunty who helped me drag my VERY HEAVY LUGGAGE into the taxi. Back in hostel I called my mum...and got all emotional again! To settle my nerves I fell to unpacking and cleaning up my room (a task that took me 2 days...) and unfortunately for me, ants got into my chai paus....hmph. Chai pau is a pau filled with vegetable filling.

Thursday passed without much ado, exceot for my very fruitful maths extra class (thanks Mr Hong for treating us to lunch!^^) and on Friday I went out with my cousin to watch Batman begins and do a bit of shopping. Yeah, Batman begins is a good movie. Watch it. lol. Anyway the bit of shopping was a study lamp and an alarm clock radio. They were heavy! We also went to the post office to do a bit of my duties and stood there for about 15 minutes filling and addressing and posting letters. Later Xin Hua and I got distracted into buying magazines....hehe. Must say, it did make me feel better to be out with my cousin. I dragged my heavy goods back to hostel after our outing and set it up.

Today's Sunday, and I'm, spending the weekend at my uncle's place, which is why i can blog. It's fun here, I got my lil cousin Ying Ying addicted to my Ahriman's Propehcy and am drooling over my very tiny new baby cousin!! Yeap! Will try and blog again soon! I haven't studied at all!

cheerio!

'I dreamt that I was composing a symphony....I had gone to my table to begin writing it down when I suddenly reflected: "If I write this part I shall let myself be carried on to write the rest. The natural tendency of my mind to expand the material is sure to make it very long...When the symphony is finished I shall be weak enough to allow my copyist to copy it out, and thus immediately incur a debt of 1,000 or 1,200 francs. Once the parts are copied I shall be harassed by the temptation to have the work performed; I shall give a concert in which, as is sure to be the case in these days, the receipts will barely cover half the expenses; I shall lose what I have not got; I shall want the necessaries of life for my poor invalid, and shall have no money for either myself or for my son's keep on board ship!"...I threw down my pen saying, "Bah! I shall have forgotten the symphony tomorrow." But the following night the obstinate symphony again presented itself...'
