Unexpected free time to blog (well not really)

Oh yeah! I am free today!! So I can BLOG!! YIPPIE!!

Sad to say….I don’t have much to say. Nothing much in school…just that I know what class I am in…its S14/05 (don’t ask why it looks so weird…that’s just the class name) but we’re better known as Class 14. I met my homeroom teacher too…who is a malay, but I didn’t get to talk to her. I think she’s temporary only…

Oh and I had quite a few talks on the various subjects I will be taking. The Bio teacher is rather strict…but somehow…I like him. Means I don’t have to put up with a noisy class (something which I really despise).

And since I am blogging, might as well vent all my frustrations at the moment of taking out my jacket from my bag this morning!! All the Lecture Theatres (LTs) and the Auditorium in my school are air conditioned!! Freezing without a jacket!! Am seriously considering bringing my long prefect skirt back to wear here. At least my legs won’t suffer from too much exposure to cold air. Not to mention my skin is drying out! When I go back for my SATS I think I need to get a whole bunch of items….
Hm….not much to say today…perhaps it’s cause my fingers and toes are really cold! It’s raining a lot here in Singapore…..but then again I prefer rain to over-heating in the sun. At least there are storm clouds to prevent me from getting sunburnt! Since I walk home from the MRT station everyday…..(sighs). Lastly….I have a pile of work waiting for me (sob) which includes

1) my lecture notes that I have to read before my lectures
2) My SATS work
3) My letters for leave that I need to get confirmed!

So I guess I'm not really free after all. Oops! What am I doing here?

It’s a good thing I have already procured my bus ticket….even if I was short sighted enough to go and buy a ticket at night. My dad’s gonna throw a fit if I ask him to pick me up some where around 2am in the morning. I don’t blame him….its entirely my fault.

Oh and lastly…we had a talk on attachments of students from my JC (Junior college, I’ll be using a lot of abbreviations based on the singlish here now) with various institues in Singapore. I’m planning to sign up….to see if the life of a researcher is suited for me, More info on that once I make up my mind. Just a little thought I had though…we had a talk by a guy who was researching on the Drag and Down-something experienced by cars….I think my friend Mak would have enjoyed that. Totally F1. Just a thought…ignore it if you don’t understand it…it’s totally a ‘Christine Reflection’

Always, Christine

'I dreamt that I was composing a symphony....I had gone to my table to begin writing it down when I suddenly reflected: "If I write this part I shall let myself be carried on to write the rest. The natural tendency of my mind to expand the material is sure to make it very long...When the symphony is finished I shall be weak enough to allow my copyist to copy it out, and thus immediately incur a debt of 1,000 or 1,200 francs. Once the parts are copied I shall be harassed by the temptation to have the work performed; I shall give a concert in which, as is sure to be the case in these days, the receipts will barely cover half the expenses; I shall lose what I have not got; I shall want the necessaries of life for my poor invalid, and shall have no money for either myself or for my son's keep on board ship!"...I threw down my pen saying, "Bah! I shall have forgotten the symphony tomorrow." But the following night the obstinate symphony again presented itself...'
