& your soul is all i ever wanted
last blog entry for the next 3 weeks! (I hope)

Yes, I really do need to concentrate on my studies. Six days have officially gone by without me touching a single book, and I am not sufficiently prepared for my bio, physics and chem and moral!! (I know no one is gonna believe this.....sigh) I must say, I am terribly lazy. (No one is gonna believe this either)

Oh well, down to business, reporting today's events! I had a lovely day today, started with rise and shine early (7 am), as I went to the Buddhist Maha Vihara in Brickfields today! Reached the temple at 7.50, it was so early, my mom managed to get a parking space right in front of the main entrance. Puja began at 8.00 am, it was nice being back again. I met my cousin in front of the Asoka Hall (sorry to all the people who feel blur and clueless!) and we sae Teacher Ho! She was really delighted I like to think.

Anyway after puja I saw Jian Wei, passed him some stuff and got hold of SMK SJ12's first school magazine!! Its sitting on my table now, one of these days I might bring it to school to show it off.... Not a bad magazine, made me wonder for the millionth time, is my school the only school which does not have contributers for Chinese and Tamil compositions?? After having a nice chat with Jian Wei, my sister kept interefering (the younger generation are so deluded nowadays) he had to take off, so I sat next to the PH Henry hall. Inside a Dhamma talk was in progress, but I was afraid I would freeze. Anyway, to cut a long story short, after the talk my mom took us out for lunch, after we stationed my cousins Toyota outside an aunts house.

Lunch was great, we somehow wrapped it up by discussing Fear Factor...
And we decided we'd better head out, in case it started raining....and unfortunately, we stepped out....to discover it WAS raining. Made our way to my aunts house amid TORRENTS and TORRENTS of rain, and blistering winds that blew huge branches off trees in PJ! In fact, there was this HUGE branch that actually blocked a whole road!! I really pitied all the people who took that road from the crossroads near SS3...But I pitied myself more when me and my cousin alighted from our car and ran to hers. We were both....well, wet. NOthing else can say it better than ...wet. When we reached Shah Alam, believe it or not, it was STILL RAINING. I changed and scanned the newspaper before dropping into deep slumber from 3 to 5 pm. My cousin Xin-yi woke me up, telling me my phone had messages. So I replied them and sent a few out myself.

My evening began with dinner in Brickfields, the food was scrumptious in my opinion, and after that we picked my youngest sister Hillary from her friend's house. We then visited my dad's friend from the US days, whom I call Uncle John, and went to see his new son!! Oh the cute little boy is soooo teeny and has such beautiful eyes and... *raves on to self for ten minutes* Anyway we left lil Eugene to sleep at 10pm, and went for Swensens!!! I smacked down on the most delicious ice cream related food products, and I won't elaborate as I might drool on the keyboard. So now, I'm stuffed and pecking away on my laptop, as I chat to my pals.

Well! Time to sign off!

'I dreamt that I was composing a symphony....I had gone to my table to begin writing it down when I suddenly reflected: "If I write this part I shall let myself be carried on to write the rest. The natural tendency of my mind to expand the material is sure to make it very long...When the symphony is finished I shall be weak enough to allow my copyist to copy it out, and thus immediately incur a debt of 1,000 or 1,200 francs. Once the parts are copied I shall be harassed by the temptation to have the work performed; I shall give a concert in which, as is sure to be the case in these days, the receipts will barely cover half the expenses; I shall lose what I have not got; I shall want the necessaries of life for my poor invalid, and shall have no money for either myself or for my son's keep on board ship!"...I threw down my pen saying, "Bah! I shall have forgotten the symphony tomorrow." But the following night the obstinate symphony again presented itself...'
