Well! I have had a great day today, but first let me express my frustration over the beautifully long entry I typed yesterday that is currently lost somewhere in cyber-god-knows-where. *sob* Its pretty heart breaking to know all my efforts were in vain. Oh well, I had a terrific day today to make up for my loss. First of all, i watched the end of a most amusing movie called 'Madeline', based on a cartoon of a little French girl living with 11 other friends and looked after by a nun. I laughted hysterically when she fell from the bridge into the water. On the whole, I have decided it's a good thing to go to bed after laughing. Anyway, I woke up today at 5.30am, and stayed in a half-awake condition all the way until 6.00am where I forced myself to jump out of bed and wash. After all, I didn't want to miss Kathina! Kathina is a ceremony of donating requisites to members of the Sangha (community of monks), marking the end of the Vassa period, or the rainy season. My mom was so happy that this year it happens to coincide with my birthday, she bought a robe for my to present to the monks. I was so happy! Besides, I feel that one of the best things in the world is meeting my long lost friends and teachers, which is precisely what I did today! I met Teacher Ho, Jian Wei and Ching Ling today, so I quite happy and content. I am surprised my tounge isn't tired of going 'yak yak yak' for almost half the morning, there was so much to catch up on with Jian Wei and Ching Ling! I just realised how much I miss my BISDS friends! Darell, Mike, you have been forwarned!! Haha, looking forward to our reunion people! Anyway, back to where I was, after Kathina, I followed my parents for Dim Sum. Then came home and slept (missing 2 phone calls from my friend Lim) and woke up at about 3 to laze around the house. Watched a very funny and stupid movie starring Nancy Sit, then went out for dinner with my mom and sisters. Rounded up with 2 yummy slices of Secret Receipe cake! Mmmm! Of course, this means that I have not touched a single book today, all but for my Konserto Terakhir, fell asleep reading it. So wasn't it a great day?? In my opinion it sure was! I really miss Brickfields now, so I'll be going there again probably at the end of the year to help out during the Novitiate. Erm, yesterdays lost blog started with a lil message to everyone, so i'm ending this entry with it. Good luck everyone for your exams!! whatever exams they may be! Oh yeah, and thanks everyone for al those nice sms greetings....I think I must have answered the most smses in my life within the past 30 hours :> Okay, gotta go discuss Sastera with a friend!
