& your soul is all i ever wanted
The mid-autumn festival draws near....and a stressed teen somewhere out in the world is reminded that she said something about blogging again for the 'Moon-cake festival'....hehe....obviously me. Lots of water has gone under the bridge since i last added anything.... Lets just skip all the frustrating parts and go smack down to today, the day i celebrated our lantern festival with my friends! Its like an annual thing for us now, and this time we did it in Sook May's house! real fun, since i was there like, 2 hours early and got to help her get ready and all. Well not really get ready, but i did help a teensy bit. And the others arrived after 7pm... at which we commenced with snacking and talking! It was nice to just sit and chat as if there was no tomorrow, even if it did rain, Joan and i accurately predicted that it would rain between 7 and 8, allowing us to play with lanterns after that! Amazingly, it stopped raining by 8.30! So after that we played with lanterns....walked to the playground...tried to clamber onto round.....pipe things....and mainly just acted plain silly. We laughed a lot, talked a lot, and released a LOT of stress. Might as well admit....ate a lot too... By 10.00 pm we were back at Sook May's house, playing cards! First we started with a game of Snap! and hahaha....it ended up in a big competition between the guys and gals, guys team consisting of Kok, Mak and Eng and da gals me, Joan and Lim. Needless to say, we alert gals obviously won...muahaha!! one round of Snap! was more than enough for us all, after all that laughing we played poker instead. As the card sharks that we are....well.....when I left at 11.45pm...they were still at it! Okay i think this should do nicely for now...my next blog will be about more serious matters...like my lousy trial results....though i have no idea why i should put them up for the world to see anyway.
